I think the reason is that we are past the point of return.

The unions are nearly gone, the cost of goods and quality has been driven down so far and people are so used to it that to turn back now would be a massive disruption.

Would be the right thing to do, I believe so. But does that make it logical or even possible - I do not think so at all.

Life's not fair. Get a helmet and adapt.

Also - it's not like this company is some well established US manufacturing powerhouse that is moving it's entire operation overseas.

I'd focus my energy on this front to -
